Today, ex-Rovers striker, Scott Taylor made the switch from Blackpool to Championship side, Plymouth. The striker has had a great goalscoring in the lower divisions but never quite made it in the higher ones. Taylor will see this as a huge challenge and a way to prove himself at the higher level.

Former Rovers striker, Scott Taylor has made a switch from League one side, Blackpool to Championship side, Plymouth.

The Seasiders accepted Plymouth's offer of only £100,000 and let Taylor talk to the Devon club, and after that it was clear Taylor had already decided to go.

The deal had been done in a matter of days. And Pilgrims boss David Williamson said he was delighted after speaking to the official site, this is what he said "He’s a player I have been chasing for a while - a proven goalscorer in the lower divisions.”

Pool boss Colin Hendry is disappointed at the transfer, but did succeed it was totally out of his control as much he would have liked the player to stay.
