You may have noticed that the message board has become less fractious. A new Admin has been put in to place and they are attempting to remove duplicate accounts and focus on keeping the message board a civilised place. Please bear with us as we try to settle the new system down and deliver a message board that better reflects the interest of supporters.
Not much will change in terms of the appearance and look of this site. We are trying really hard to make it a place where you can discuss Rovers without it becoming like a school playground. We will also increase the numbers of articles that appear and perspectives on match performances. There is little point in providing match reports as message board contributors often have the best perspective.
Here’s hoping that the improvements make this a better place.
Update
There have been some comments about moderation. Our intention is to delete posts that are personally abusive. We will also delete posts and threads which are deliberately designed to be divisive. That's a judgement call on our part but a necessary evil. Repeat offences will result in accounts being suspended.

Are the new management responsible for removing my factual, non-abusive post about the ticket fiasco I and others have experienced? If so, please explain the logic or are we to be a board that can only say positive things about the club, despite the repercussions of recent poor practice for certain individuals. I’m aware of somebody who’s not particularly in good health who has been impacted in a negative way by the prolonged mishandling of his situation and yes, the club have been made aware.
Yes, I am irked by the situation and not all of us are pleased to have the Mary Whitehouse experience if it means hiding from the truth.
If a bit of harmless fun is also a no-no, then I doubt I’ll be sticking around.
Perhaps a new board protocol should be published so we
all know what we’re buying into or not as the case may be.

Maybe using words such as ‘problem’ or writing to Tranmere direct rather than using emotive words on here such as ‘fiasco’ would be advisable ? A ticket process issue will not be resolved by writing on here other than to raise your personal experience. Others said they had had no problem so the cause of your experience needs to be determined.
That is, state problems in as unemotional a way as possible and write to those responsible rather than to social media. It works for me!
The club has done so much for the community and has been affected by the pandemic and EFL decisions that have had ramifications on staffing.
Out of interest , has your experience been repeated? Does it happen every time?
I welcome the new administration.

Anytime I post on the history of the baldy accounts or speculate on who went rouge with the passwords the posts are deleted and my account warned, so I can't be as open as I'd like.
I did not create the baldy accounts nor have I had access to the passwords for a very long time, since the first split.
None of the original password holders have access afaik
You may want to ask which posters no longer contribute, and which will return with the demise of the baldy hive accounts and why this coincided with new admin.
This message will self destruct etc etc.
Hail hail

Quote:He acknowledged that was involved in the past, though not responsible for them, in the original response. It was then edited to what you currently see shortly after - with the hint that he was being warned to do so - but not before I read it. Sadly I didn't get a screen shot. How much you believe it is down to you.Matt34Quote:Doogie'sGhostQuote:So, this is effectively an admission that you were, at some point, involved with the baldy hive accounts and had access to those accounts then?mrGr33n13

It would suggest that yes.
Quote:We are in trouble if you are seriously suggesting that the word "fiasco" is inappropriate on a forum... also to suggest that you aren't "allowed" to post negative comments re ticketing which has undoubtedly been shambolic, I mean having to collect matchday tickets between 7.15 and 7.30 at the supporter's coach fro the Swindon game is Mickey Mouse.TRSince1968Quote:White Noise
