Vote for you Man of the Match from this afternoon's fully deserved 2-1 home win over Maidstone United at Prenton Park...
After Tranmere continued their 100% start to the new season with a fifth successive win after deservedly beating newly promoted Maidstone United at home on Saturday afternoon, we are once again giving you the chance to vote for your Man of the Match from the game as our post-match poll series continues for the new season.
Rovers dominated the match but had to wait until four minutes before half-time before breaking the deadlock when Andy Cook found a way through to make it a 1-0 scoreline in favour of the hosts at the break.

Steve McNulty was the surprise winning goal scorer against Maidstone United
The second half of the game was more of the same as Rovers hit the post and forced the Maidstone defence into action on numerous occasions but out of nothing a lapse in front of the Rovers defence allowed Maidstone to equalise completely against the run of play.
As with the previous game at home against Eastleigh last week, it looked like being another frustrating end to the game for Rovers but once again they found the winner they deserved when the Maidstone goalkeeper missed a punch from a Steven Jennings corner and Steve McNulty smashed the ball home to hand Rovers another 2-1 home win.

Don't know why, but I must be at a different PP to others. I've not heard any abuse towards any players. Yes people are entitled to their view about who is having a good game and who's having a bad one. This is only in conversation between themselves. To start suggesting that sections of the crowd are getting on the players back is total rubbish. Same fans as last year, only this year we are wining and the fans have been right behind them. Please advise me where these dis-loyal fans sit, as until I hear it for myself I feel it is total and utter rubbish.

I haven't heard individual players picked out yet but there are plenty of people still prepared to spend 90 minutes moaning and being negative towards the team on the pitch and to Brabin (a bit like on here) - to deny its happening is total and utter rubbish.

No I said yet because it's going to happen as soon as we draw a game let alone lose one. It's the Tranmere way!
