The votes have been counted and we can now confirm that you have voted defender Steve McNulty and midfielder Jeff Hughes as your joint Tranmere the Men of the Match for last Friday's 3-2 home win over Lincoln City.....

After two days of voting we can confirm that defender Steve McNulty and midfielder Jeff Hughes have been jointly votes as youe Men of the Match for last Friday's 3-2 home win over Lincoln City.

In a match that was televised live to the nation on Friday afternoon, Rovers twice took the lead in the game through a James Norwood penalty and a Jake Kirby goal, only to be pegged back both times by 10-man Lincoln through goals from George Maris and Robbie McDaid.  In the end though just when it looked like Rovers would have their third televised draw this season, Adam Mekki's deflected shot went in and handed Rovers a deserved 3-2 win.

As you can see from the poll results below, McNulty and Hughes each polled 34% of the votes (10 votes each), well ahead of their nearest challengers Jay Harris and Jake Kirby who each polled 7% of the votes (3 votes each).  The only other players to poll any votes in the poll were Michael Ihiekwe (7%, 2 votes) and Gary Taylor-Fletcher (3%, 1 vote).
