2-0 win for TRFC. Breathing space for GB

Considering the amount of chances they are capable of creating sometimes, they could get 3 or 4 on a good day if they converted enough and maybe it could just happen soon, like it did against Gateshead and Bromley.

2-0 would seem a fairly prudent estimation though.

However I'd rather they got a 1-0 4 times in a row, rather than a flashy 4-0 followed up with 2 draws and a loss in no particular order.

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.

If the weather forecast turns out to be true-given the Moss Rose's penchant for getting waterlogged quite often ,then there must be the possibility that the match will not go ahead on Boxing Day

Important in regards to what? We won't get into the playoffs we are far from good enough today we were still way below what a team needs to get in the playoffs. We won yes rode our look yes played well Mmm

Excellent result. Couldn't go today but the result was far more important than level of performance which I can't comment on as I was not there.

A fully deserved win, a decent enough performance and now two games unbeaten and a chance to kick on so definitely an important win for sure!

Only seven points from the playoffs with two more Christmas games to come yet!

Well Done Lads!

For those wanting Margetts back,I believe he missed a penalty today[Stockport lost 2-1 at home to Harrogate Town] and according to one happy poster ''Odejayi can't hit a cows @#$%& with a banjo''

Apparently Stockport have used 32 players so far this season[where've we seen that before?]

A good result and the margin to the top 5 is cut, so maybe, just maybe the playoffs is still on, but the results must keep coming.

Get another 2 wins in a row and keeping closing the gap.

Apart from the officials

They were that bad it was laughable. Got to be the worst ref this season.

Defo defending better. Both goals from our center backs too. I thought Ihiekwe had a great game.

Going back to last weeks game and the comments, I see Halifax won at Lincoln so our point was a good point.

Two games unbeaten against teams that are in form. Definitely not over and still loads to play for. Hoping for a big crowd, good atmosphere and a win on Monday. Not too much to ask for?

A good 3 points, never went so can't really comment, radio commentary seemed to say we deserved it, and sounded like Norwood missed a couple of chances. Positive that someone else other than he scored. 1 win doesn't make a season though and as Edwards said on commentary should make a welcome change for them to be cheered off not booed. A home win is needed tomorrow and hopefully some confidence should build.

A good performance , against a good Macc team, Tranmere fans giving good support, nice day out.Players chased the oposition with a lot more effort . Norwood should have scored at least three. Midfield, Jenno, not the best but some improvement , Jay played well. the back four seemed tighter. McNulty was great did not put a foot wrong, with great headed goal, man of the match for me. They had a great left winger very tricky player he caused a lot of problems in the first half, he dropped back in the second half, that helped to take the pressure off, like to see him in a Tranmere shirt.
It wont be an easy game against the Silkmen next week but these are the teams we have to beat to get up the table.
It was very Windy but the wind did not blow as much as the Ref need I say more.Keep the Faith.

What was nice was the fans got behind the team yesterday and there was a good atmosphere. I just hope it can be replicated at Prenton Park tomorrow.

Well done Rovers a good result. I felt that we parked the bus for long periods relying on Norwood for breakaways. The defence looked solid with McNulty and Iwikwe in fine form. A win at last which means we now need 14 wins from the last 20 games to make 80pts. You never know - it could happen.

Enjoyed the win, didn't go as family commitments. Enjoyed reading posts but feel olive branches should be offered out and not the re-ignition of disharmony (or pop at the dissenters) with your post. Time for goodwill to all men! Time for unity tomorrow and moving forward; doesn't mean we should all share the same viewpoint though as this makes the world and the site a better place. Perhaps you're playing devil's advocate? The win re-ignited my sons faith and he wants to go again tomorrow, wearing his new home kit that Santa left him. Fans are fickle and amazing what a win does! Does tickle me how McNulty now popular again; don't think he's deserved the blame for our recent form but that's just my opinion. Feels so much better for all I'm sure but agree that one win is no where near enough and we need to build on it (master of stating the obvious). Happy New Year; let's hope so!!

Hi Deadly - I noted your comments that the site was strangely quiet after the game. I suppose those that just like to moan would find it difficult after an away win against a team that's been on a roll.
