Tranmere put out a team of 11 cut-out figures and we put in the best performance of the season. There is some movement in midfield when two of the cut-outs blow across the pitch. Unfortunate to lose 0-1 though.

Staying optimistic and with my score prediction of a 4-1 win.

Defining moment of the season, we turn right up for the derby and it sets us off on a great run over Xmas, thus re-igniting our season

If its a draw is there a replay or extra time and penalties?

I'm usually wrong anyway, so I'm going for a narrow 6-7 loss

I still doubt Brabin is going anywhere for the time being so anyone that wants us to lose so that happens will just be adding further disappointment to themselves.

Even if we do lose I don't think he will go on the back of an FA Trophy defeat personally!

Surely enough is enough! Like another Forum member I am seriously considering giving my season ticket away. Thank God I didn't make the long trip up from the South for his debacle!! Costs me £64 return on Virgin rail if booked in advance, plus lunch etc etc. Leave at 7am get back at 11pm. No bloody more, I'm totally exasperated with this bunch of under performing misfits and useless management team. If MP does not do something about this then Conference North here we come.

i havnt sat in the kop for 3 years, as im always in the town paddock, but today i thought i would give it ago, todays game, why he rested hill and played mcnulty is beyond me, the team is lacking ideas, pace, energy, and most of all goals, norwood is the only player trying i think, Brabin has to go and take mcnulty and jenning with you, dawson looks like he has done his hamstring again proberly rushed back to quick, vaughn is useless at right back, midfield just goes missing every game now, kirby did ok and mekii was ok too, but some things defo need to change, and very quick

Only went today because my youngest son was keen to go (other two sons wouldn't go if you gave them a blank cheque). 30 minutes before the end of the game it was my son who was begging me to go. How to lose future supporters! I thought the effort and performance were better today in the first half but once again our finishing and decision making when attacking leaves a lot to be desired. Every team we play seem to have strikers/midfielders who only need one chance to score, whereas we need half a dozen per goal. Mekki trying to side foot the ball in from 2 yards out allowing there goalkeeper to save in the first half (burst the net!). We are not ruthless enough. Feel sorry for Brabin as could be a miserable Christmas; hasn't brought us much joy and at least I'll still have my job! Unlike some, wouldn't wish it upon him but almost seems inevitable. We need some Christmas cheer so may be last chance saloon.

Not too many ideas again going fowards, same old really. Jenno runs around nowhere near the ball, balls get passed by slow fat Mcnulty with ease, nearly every attack by the oppostion turns into a goal or near miss. Yet we cant create a chance if it was our last chance on earth.... Im starting to worry about relagation now, players just arent gelling, Brabin comes out with this spiel that weve been training all week night and day and we let 4 goals in against our rivals after all that "hard work". Never been so embarrassed at a home game in my memory that i was today....

Sorry, posted my humanitarian message too soon after the game when emotions are still raw! Will try to be more sensitive in future. Totally understand your frustration and anger, but with age I have become a bit more philosophical and know there are no easy fixes. Players have to shoulder some of the blame; I'm sure Brabin is as frustrated as us but he will ultimately pay the price for the failures. Long, hard road ahead for all of us; let's hope there's still enough of us around when we reach the light at the end of the tunnel (bloody dark at the moment though!).

ive just been looking at todays fa trophy results, there were a few games called off but it seems as if most of the conference clubs in the top half of the table have progressed to round 2 with the exception of ourselves and forest green. is it good to be out of this competition or not? if forest green go on to take the conference title then maybe yes its wise to go out early, on the other hand ,if Cheltenham go and do the double [ conference title and fa trophy winners ] then maybe not, lol.

Noticeable how many season ticket holders were missing today; obviously didn't feel obliged to come. On the bright side I paid £1 for my son to attend and he found a pound under one of the seats; therefore it cost him nothing to attend so at least he got value for money!!

If it hadn't been for their keeper,we'd have been a couple ahead at least at half time. But second half[with the odd exception]we didn't turn up.

Then a bad very Kirby pass put Ihiekwe in trouble and they scored the third. Their player hit the post but it came straight back to him and he put it in. When we hit the post in the first half it didn't come straight back to Mekki and their keeper was able to save the follow up.

Norwood[throughout] and Mekki [first half] were miles better than the rest.

An Davies made at least 3 or 4 great stops, and their 10 was pants he had 3 or 4 clear opportunities to get shots away in open space and fluffed them, so it could have been 4-8. The problem here is we all want us to win so are disappointed, I have now written us off and consigned myself to the fact we will be relegated. Wrexham aren't even that good a side and they trounced us. Braintree had a PE teacher as manager, beat us.

Agree with Belmont. Lots of chat on here about tactics. But the simple fact is that tactics have nothing to do with it- the squad is very very poor. No pace, skill or creativity. Brabin has to fall on his sword as he brought most of them here.
Some of the players takes me back to my glory days in Div 2 of the Birkenhead Sunday league.

I think if they played in div 2 of the Birkenhead league this lot would struggle..I played for Church Drive juniors in the 1970s and reckon we would beat the team Brabbin in putting out ..I have been a season ticket holder since 1980 and this is the worst tranmere team I have seen and in my option based on commitment , endeviour and never giving in the lads that I played with in the 1970s would win hands down ...I still play a Sunday 5 aside with some of the lads from the 1970 team and we all agree that in our day if you couldn't play with either foot you would never have made our team ...it seems today that it is ok to have one foot and a swinger ..basic stuff I know , and people will say Messi has only got a left foot...this is true but how many Messsi are there ...None in the tranmere team ..What do the first team practice in training..?? .. It beggars believe...bottom line if things don't improve there are 4 teams relegated for this division ...and before anyone says that this is trash taking and negative....we have been here before in the last two seasons when someone would say relegation was a possibility they would be shot down in flames...What happened ......we got relegated....2016 is massive and we need a manager and a team preferably with footballers who can use either foot ...at present we have neither ...Lets hope that Farther Christmas brings us some Christmas cheer by way of a new manager who has some tactical nause and a team that will play for him...Merry Xmas ...

Routine, really, gale force wind rain, glad your not the goalkeeping coach, your not Ronnie Taylor by any chance are you. I though both keepers were outstanding yesterday and saved both teams a bug scoreline. And Wrexhams goals were all really well taken from composed indivduals, bar Norwood non of ours can do that. Shooting from the halfway line twice says it all McNulty in the first half and Norwood from the restart.
