In our latest Man of the Match vote of the season which related to last Saturday’s 0-0 FA Cup home draw against Lincoln City, we can reveal that newly signed striker Gary Taylor-Fletcher has made it two Awards out of two as you voted him as your Man of the Match.....

After a full week of voting following Tranmere's frustrating 0-0 home draw against Lincoln City in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup, we can now reveal that the Man of the Match for Tranmere's performance, as voted for by you the fans and readers of this site, was once again newly signed striker Gary Taylor-Fletcher who made it two Award wins from two games so far in a Tranmere shirt.

Unlike his previous award win for the 2-0 away win at Forest Green Rovers in the previosu game, Taylor-Fletcher was not on the scoresheet this time around but had a number of great chances to win the game for Rovers as did his strike partner James Norwood.

Rovers had the best of the game and should have won comfortably including one of the most blatant penalty decisions to ever not be given at Prenton park for a clear pull on Taylor-Fletcher's shirt.

As you can see from the poll below, Taylor-Fletcher took the honour with just 31% of the vote (9 votes) of the 29 votes cast in total with debutant Steve McNulty in second place with 17% of the vote (5 votes).  Jay Harris, who polled four votes (14% of the vote) was in third place ahead of Liam Ridehalgh in fourth with 10% of the vote (3 votes).

In a first for our Man of the Match polls, only one player including substitutes failed to poll any votes (goalkeeper Scott Davies) whit all of the rest outside the top four all polling 3% of the votes (1 vote each) apart from Steven Jennings who was slightly ahead with 7% of the vote (2 votes),
