Following last night's superb 4-1 away win at Gateshead which saw Tranmere make it six points from a possible six i nthe first two games of the season, we are asking you to vote for you Tranmere Man of the Match from the game as part of our post-match poll series.

Tranmere took the lead on the half hour when a great move between Cole Stockton and Andy Mangan resulted in the latter crossing for Liam Ridehalgh to score.  Ritchie Sutton's deflected header from a Ridehalgh corner made it 2-0 before another defender, Michael Ihiekwe made it 3-0 with a nice finish.

The home side pulled a goal back in first half injury time when Rovers allowed an unchallenged cross and an unmarked header but Matt Hill's wonder goal in the second half, a block tackle followed by a run and curling shot from 35 yards sealed the 4-1 win.

Jay Harris without doubt. Absolutely outstanding!

Hill and the rest of the back 4 (and Ridehalgh) also worthy of mention though!

Echo gave it to Ridehalgh, interesting as he only played 1st half. Must of had a stormer!

Not noticeably so but scored one and made two so I guess that was a huge factor and rightly so!

Harris was outstanding and a worthy candidate I would give it to them all as I said in another post pride in the shirt and wanting to win its a long time since we have had that and not just picking up a wage as most of them were
