In our final Man of the Match vote of the season from the 1-0 home defeat to Bury eleven days ago, which saw Bury promoted to League One, it was Jason Koumas who got the vote of the fans to become Man of the Match........

 

 

 

 

 

After a record eleven days of voting since the game came to an end, we can now reveal that the Man of the Match for Tranmere's final game of the season, a 1-0 home defeat to promoted Bury, as voted for by you the fans and readers of this site, was Jason Koumas. 

After a fairly even first half, Bury grabbed the goal that ultimately got them promoted in the second half and after that strike there was no way back into the game for Rovers.

As you can see from the poll below which saw a total of 29 votes cast during the extended voting period this time around, Jason Koumas polled 38% of the vote (11 votes) with Matt Hill coming in second place with 17% of the vote (5 votes).  Only three players who started the game failed to receive any votes for Man of the Match (Donacien, Donnelly and Odejayi) whilst two out of the three substitutes polled one vote each (newly signed professionals Ben Jago and Tolani Omotola).
