In our Man of the Match vote from last Saturday's 3-2 defeat away at Plymouth Argyle which saw Rovers relegated out of the Football League, it was Max Power who got the vote of the fans to become Man of the Match........
After six days of voting since the game came to an end, we can now reveal that the Man of the Match for last Saturday's 3-2 away defeat to Plymouth Argyle, as voted for by you the fans and readers of this site, was Max Power.
After falling behind inside five minutes to an extremely dubious penalty decision conceded by Max, it was Power himself who then equalised with a great strike at the other end. However the lead was relatively short-lived as the Green Army went back in front with a great strike of thier own despite a foul on Donnelly in the build-up to it.
Argyle added a third goal in the second half before Rovers got one back through Odejayi in the final minute but by the that time the result and Tranmere's League fate were sealed as they were relegated thanks to Hartlepool's home win over Exeter.
As you can see from the poll below which for the second week running had a total of thirteen votes cast during the full length voting period this time around, Max Power polled 38% of the vote (5 votes) with Adam Dugdale in a close second place with 31% of the vote (4 votes). Only four other players polled votes with all of them (Donacien, Koumas, Laird and substitute Iain Hume) polling 8% of the vote (1 vote each) to complete the voting.
Stay tuned to Total Tranmere on Saturday evening for your chance to vote for the Tranmere Man of the Match for tomorrow's final home game of the season and in the Football League at home to Bury, the results of which will be published at the end of next week.
