Rovers Manager Ronnie Moore has been busy today in the loan market, bringing in both a defender and a striker on short term loan deals to boost Tranmere’s injury hit squad ahead of the busy Christmas period.....
West Bromwich Albion defender Donervan Daniels has joined Rovers on loan until January 2013 with Bolton Wanderers striker Michael O’Halloran also coming to Prenton Park for the same period.
18-year old Daniels joined West Brom from Reading in 2009 and has become a regular in their Under-21 side since then whilst he was also named the Premier League club’s Young Player of the Year last season.

Michael O'Halloran has signed from Bolton on loan
Meanwhile, 21-year old striker O’Halloran from Glasgow came through the youth system at Celtic before moving to Bolton’s Under-18 side.
He has spent time on loan at Carlisle United and Sheffield United, scoring for the latter in the penalty shoot-out in the 2011-12 League 1 Play Off final. He has also represented Scotland at Under-21 level.
Speaking of the two new arrivals today, Manager Ronnie Moore said....
“I’m pleased to be able to bring Donervorn to the Club. With Mark McChrystal going to Scunthorpe to gain match fitness and Ben Gibson able to be called back by Middlesbrough at any time we were short at the back so Donervorn will add to our options.”

Donnervan Daniels has signed from West Bromwich Albion
“He’s only young but he’s done well in West Brom’s Under-21 side. He’s big and strong and I look forward to working with him. I’d like to thank West Brom and Steve Clarke for allowing Donervorn to join us.”
“I’m really pleased to bring Michael in to the Club. We’re short on attacking options so Michael is a welcome addition to the squad. I’ve watched him a few times and he’s got pace and he can score goals. I’d like to thank Dougie Freedman for allowing Michael to join us for a month.”

Yes there are some unbelievable posts elsewhere whinging about the number of loanees. Some people claiming they'd rather be in mid table with less loanees-of course they would!!! How ludicrous can they get? No, don't answer that one.
