Total Tranmere brings you a run down of the odds ahead of the Good Friday League One fixture against Stevenage

On the back of Rovers' first defeat since Ronnie Moore's return to the club, Tranmere go in search of a crucial win that would push them over the 50 point mark and most likely to League One safety for another year.

Rovers are looking to defend an unbeaten home record under Ronnie Moore that stretches back over 20 matches and has seen them pick up three wins and a draw from four home matches since his return to Prenton Park.

This however won't be an easy fixture for the Wirral side, as they take on promotion chasing Stevenage, who after being promoted to League One for the first time last season have enjoyed a successful season, carrying their momentum from a play-off final victory forward into the new season.

Tipster: Since Graham Westley left Stevenage for Preston North End in January, the Boro have been tough to beat, but they've also found winning difficult.  They come into this game on the back of a seven match unbeaten run, but they've only won one match during that run, whilst they've also only picked up one win in their last thirteen matches.

This could be a very close game, then, with Tranmere themselves having been tough to beat at Prenton Park all season, only suffering three defeats and not having lost on home soil in 2012. 

I think this will be a very tight game, and therefore odds of 3/4 on Tranmere win or draw no bet with Stan James and Boyle Sports are quite handy, whilst 15/2 with Sky Bet on Jake Cassidy to score the last goal is also a good bet.

As a scorecast, William Hill will offer you 55/1 on Lucas Akins to score first in a 2-1 Tranmere win, whilst they are also offering odds of 11/1 on Ash Taylor to score anytime in a Tranmere win.
