If you can't make Tranmere's game away at Bramall Lane on Saturday afternoon, why not join in the banter right here with other Rovers fans who are unable to attend......

Article Header - Match Discussion

For those fans who can't make some of the Rovers games this season, particularly the more costly and time consuming southern away games, we at Total Tranmere will be providing a Match Discussion Thread on the Site for every Rovers game.

The thread will allow you to discuss everything from the pre-match build up and starting line-up to the game it as it progresses and the post-match analysis.

Where possible, Total Tranmere staff will post up the starting line-up and substitutes on the thread as soon as it is made known at the game as well as a half-time report on how the game is going for the benefit of those who are unable to make it.

Tranmere make the trip to Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon in NPower League One so if you're not going to the game why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on?

Maybe if you have a friend or family member texting you from the game you can post their views here for others to see as the game progresses.

You could also use this thread to discuss other interesting scores throughout the league as well as discussing this game afterwards if you have been along to the game.

What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use.

Admin staff will try and add the team and updates on the game on this thread where possible whilst there will also be our usual update service from our Twitter feed @totaltranmere so if you are not already following us it may be worth doing so!

Excellent result draw 1-1 at Sheff Utd (Sm160)now we need at least a draw at Rochdale if not a win onwards and upwards.

Really good result and fully deserved. We battled really hard in a game of few chances and without doubt earned the point. Their goal was scrappy and could have been prevented but ours was a superbly worked corner routine.

Some excellent performances, but thought our defensive display was absolutely stunning. Ash Taylor put in one of his best displays for us! Won everything in the air against some really good players.

A cracking result especially to come from behind to get the point, weve now taken 5 points from losing positions under ronnie.

Lets hope the unbeaten run continues for a while longer, onwards and upwards.

Excellent well deserved draw-could possibly have been even better if Brunt had not had so much time to think about the fact that he was through one on one with the keeper.Would have snapped their hands off if they'd have offered us a 1-1 at three o'clock so delighted with our performance.Good efforts by all the players though where was the communication between Zoom and Buchanan when they spectacularly and comically collided with each other[both requiring treatment]just after their goal.

First half we created absolutely nothing and although it was only 1 0 at the break it didn't look good specially with the awful defending for the goal and on at least one other occasion.

Second half though we worked hard, created a few chances and deserved the point completely. A great result.

Just a shame Brunt didnt put that chance away instead if waiting and trying to be too clever.

Disagree I thought he looked lively and enthusiastic when he came on and I'd start him over Brunt.

Apart from his glancing header from a corner,I didn't see anything that would make me start him ahead of Brunt who has built up a reasonable relationship with Enoch over the past 4 games.I would expect anyone in their first half hours' debut to look ''lively and enthusiastic''.

Only half an hour of football but he didn't do anything more than Brunt; in fact he did significantly less. Brunt won headers, did a lot of running and had a couple of chances. Cassidy just ran around.

To say that Cassidy just ran around, specially in a short subsitute spell is a little harsh as the same could be said about plenty of other players specially on Saturday.

Akins contributed a goal but all he did otherwise was run around and very little else but the point is he was on the pitch 'running around' in the first place and therefore able to grab a goal.

Brunt's header for Enoch's goal against Preston was fantastic and they both worked tremendously hard in the first half of that game - just think that it's ridiculously harsh to pass off Cassidy's debut as 'just running around'

Think I'd have Brunt for now.

He seems to have established a partnership with Enoch so I'd keep them together, he does seem to tire quickly though which is why having Cassidy on the bench is a good option.

Cassidy seemed very lively but once his touch really let him down, else he wold have scored on Saturday I think.

Fair enough yeah although as we agreed on the way home, Brunt really should have won that game for us on Saturday to be fair.
