After Tranmere's 1-0 defeat away at Chesterfield on Saturday afternoon, Manager Les Parry was disappointed to see the poor run of form continue with yet another one goal defeat......

Tranmere Manager Les Parry was disappointed to see his side lose yet again by a single goal away from home after a poor Chesterfield side won 1-0 at home to Rovers at the B2Net Stadium.

Speaking to Tranmere Player after the game, Les Parry said.....

"It's becoming like a stuck record.  It was always going to be one goal that settled it, it wasn't the best of games.  I thought we started the first half well, had a few chances and then they finished the half better than us."

"The way they carved their way through us for the goal was disappointing.  It was only about four passes and he's ended up on the edge of our area.  That can't happen.  We didn't create that much from wide but some good balls went into the box. Welshy had a one on one and if we take that it's different."

"The pressure showed today, we played with a bit of fear and that makes it even more difficult.  But that's natural. That's the predicament we are in." 

"The fans were fantastic today.  There's a section who want me out and I can't really criticise them for that. We are in the middle of a really bad run and they are probably getting the jitters and thinking that if we bring someone else in it might be the catalyst to get that win. The Chairman has got to be thinking that as well at some point. He'll make that decision at the right time."

"I've never jacked anything in. I've had a successful life and I think I've succeeded here at Tranmere as well.  But it could end up on a low where I end up losing my job. When it does happen, and there's a fair chance it could happen tomorrow or even tonight, I've got to be realistic, if it does, it does."
