Total Tranmere brings you a run down of the odds ahead of Rovers' trip to Bournemouth this weekend

Tranmere Rovers travel south to take on Bournemouth this Saturday hoping to end a run of form that has seen them go without a win on the road since October 25th.

Bournemouth, chasing the play-offs for the second season running, will not be easy opponents for Les Parry's side, but with the Cherries having lost six home league games already this season, perhaps Rovers will sense a chance to win at Dean Court for the second successive season.

Rovers will be without a number of key players for the fixture, with last seasons goal scoring hero Adam McGurk set to sit out the match along with Zoumana Bakayogo, Dave Raven, Owain fon Williams, Andy Robinson and Enoch Showunmi, so Les Parry has a thread bare squad to chose from again, but he does hope to bolster his side with the addition of a further loan signing before the match.

Tipster: Although Tranmere are on a poor run of form, I fancy them to get something out of this game against a team who've struggled at home this season and at a ground where they've done well in the past.

Bournemouth have netted just twelve home goals this season compared to Tranmere scoring only 14 times away, so both teams not to score looks like a good bet, with most bookies offering EVENS on this market.

If we get a point here that would be a good result given our record over the past eleven games also they are in the fortunate position of being near the play off places add to that a new part (50%) Russian owner(joint chairman)Maxim Demin
who has or plans to invest money for players and ground investment they have today been granted permission by local council to start new training facility next to their stadium
and that ground has conferencing facilities/executive boxes and restaurants/suites(for weddings ect)and club bars all these things point the way their club is trying to go,
We our selves do not know how things are going to be planned out no investment small budget for players a main stand part of which we can not sit in but most of all that gets to me is the lack of information that comes from the club these days even down to the problem with the town end part of the main stand all we get is a short statement that we can not sit there you have to go else were but even before the Rochdale game not much came out about it then.
I can understand it may take time but I wish they would issue a statement that it is closed till April or that they are in talks with contractors ect about repairs and update us via the club site any progress it seems the club has lost that link with it`s fans.Any way that`s me gripe for the week. To hellwith it lets get at least a point on Saturday if not three to cheer us all up.
