Tranmere have today signed Leeds United's former Premier League goalkeeper Paul Rachubka on a month long loan deal and also extended the loan of star man Jose Baxter until January.......

Following a training ground injury to regular goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams this week, Tranmere have today completed the loan signing of goalkeeper Paul Rachubka from Leeds United.
The 30-year old goalkeeper who played for Blackpool in the Premier League for some of last season, joins for a month after Owain Fon Williams broke his hand in training.
Rachubka has made more than 250 career appearances since beginning his career at Manchester United and in addition to spells at Huddersfield Town and Blackpool, he has played on loan for Oldham Athletic, Peterborough United, Northampton Town and MK Dons.
Speakin of the signing of Rachubka, Manager Les Parry said....
"It’s really unfortunate for Owain to pick up an injury when he was doing so well for us but we are lucky to be able to bring in a goalkeeper of Paul’s experience at short notice. I’m grateful to Leeds manager Simon Grayson for allowing him to join us for a month.”

Meanwhile, Rovers have extended the loan of star man Jose Baxter from Everton until January 2012, meaning that he will be available for Rovers throughout the busy festive period.
The 19-year old will enter the third month of his time at Prenton Park on loan from Everton. He has made nine appearances for Rovers, scoring against Preston North End and Sheffield Wednesday.
Manager Les Parry said..
"Keeping Jose here for another month is fantastic news. He wants to stay here and Everton have done us a real favour in letting him stay. Hopefully he’ll go back there a better player."
“He’s done really well since he has been here and he is an exceptional talent and has got a great attitude He’s taken on board everything we’ve asked of him and the loan has worked well for us so far.”
Both Baxter and Rachubka will be available for Rovers trip to Exeter City on Saturday afternoon in NPower League One.

Gutted to hear about Fon Williams breaking his hand but we need to get behind Rachubka regardless of what has gone before in past few games.
Knowing our fans though just one mistake (if that) will be enough to set them off!
