In the second of two competitions  we are giving you the chance to win a pair of tickets to the Mersey Masters Football at the Echo Arena on Saturday 18th June......

The 2011 Mersey Masters is just under a month away and last week we launched the first of two competitions, to win two pairs of tickets for the event.

We asked you to name the Rovers player who scored the winning goal when Tranmere beat Bolton Wanderers 4-3 to take the National Masters Football title in Birmingham in 2009 and the answer to that question was Ian Muir.

We had a decent number of entries, most of them correct and the winner which was chosen at random by an independent member of our Admin Team was Stephen Gaskill who posts on our Message Forum under the name WiiPatNevin so congratulations to Stephen - you will be contacted by us in due course.

This years Mersey Masters will feature Tranmere's arch-rivals Bolton Wanderers for the first time, with Wanderers taking the place of Preston North End who featured for the first time last season.  Bolton and Tranmere join Liverpool, Everton, Blackpool and Wigan in a competition in which so far Tranmere have a 100% record having triumphed three times out of three appearances.

The event takes place at Liverpool's Echo Arena on Saturday 18th June with a 4.00pm start so for a second chance to win a pair of tickets courtesy of event sponsors Selco Builders Warehouse, simply answer the question below..

Send your answers to the above question by e-mail to competition@total-tranmere.co.uk and the winner will be announced early next week shortly before we launch our second chance to win.  In the e-mail subject header type TT Masters Comp 2 and include in the message text your Name, your Answer and a Contact Telephone Number.

Brilliant! Thanks to Total Tranmere and Selco Builders warehouse for setting up the competition. Really looking forward to the Mersey masters now.
