Following Saturday's surprise 3-0 away win over Leyton Orient in League One, we bring you your chance to vote for Tranmere's Man of the Match from the game. Every player is on the list but not all may be in contention this time around......
After Tranmere thumped Leyton Orient 3-0 at Brisbane Road on Saturday in League One, we are asking you to vote for your Tranmere Rovers Man of the Match for the game.
Tranmere found themselves 2-0 up by the half-time break after an Aaron Cresswell long-range strike and an Adam McGurk goal put Rovers in charge before McGurk then added his second and Rovers third in the second half.

I didn't get to go to this one but wish I had. I'd be really interested to know how Andy Robbo played (whether his 'free' role still worked). Otherwise it's got to be Adam McGurk hasn't it? Really looking forward to the Swindon game now

Split between Robbo and Cresswell. Both excellent. McGurk unlucky to come off injured as he may have got hatrick
Even though I didn't go to this one and as there hasn't been many posts I'm going with bmb's suggestion of Ian Goodison. This is cos I didn't vote for him as player of the season and I'm feeling a bit guilty to be honest. Any defender of 38 who can chip in with six goals for the season, the most in his career in the UK I think, is a bit special.
Quite comfortably Robbie Weir, though behind him would have been Robinson. Ash Taylor also had another solid game, as did Michael Kay.
Glad to hear that Andy Robbo played well. He didn'tlook fit to me when we he first arrived this season and the injury he got soon after didn't help. Seems to be doing o.k now though. What happened with Joss Labadie? Just wondering how he managed to get yellow carded when we were cruising at 3-0.
He kicked the ball away after the referee had blew for a foul.
In fairness I think he literally kicked it a second after he blew the whistle and their was no way Joss could have stopped himself from kicking it at that point.

O.k. That's not the worst thing Labadie has done this season. He's going to have to watch out for his place though if Weir and Robbo keep playing well. Glad Weir seems to be showing some promise.
I was told Weir wasn't that great so it's interesting when you don't go how differently people view things!

I'd also meant to ask did it look like we missed Enoch at all (i'm assuming not)

Well he wrote a letter addressed to the chairman and said although he was an AFCB fan could he please still vote for Pepe for player of the season because he is his favourite player! Whether his vote ever counted or not is irrelevant - he did try! I think next season I'll have to enrol my lad as a junior white as well as a junior cherry.[www.courtoffside.com]

Yes, and no.
McGurk is no where near as hard working as Enoch, and at times we were quite poor and missed him pressuring the defenders as he does.
However I don't think the big guy would have netted the first goal McGurk got.
Would love to see McGurk and Enoch up front together, they could really tear apart any defence imo.

On the assumption he'd be off in the summer, but if he is still here he'd start every week for me and we'd play the same formation as we have done the last 2 games!
Weir ran round like a headless chicken for most of the game, only thing he did was win a tackle that led to the ball breaking to mcgurk. Robbo was a composed player in the middle of everything and did a lot of harrying as did all the team. Played a very high line and kept up a lot of pressure on their back 4. Man of match was cresswell by miles cross for third goal was brilliant right in that danger area were a goalie can't come for it. And his goal, well as my son said if that was a premiership goal we would be seeing replays of it every hour. His words were best live goal he's ever seen!!!! I'll take that any day
Good to see there's a few candidates for MOM. Sign of a good performance.
Weir made so many tackles in the second half especially and ran his socks off. He put so much effort into that game and he does have quality to him. Hope he signs next year.
interestin people are sayin taylor had a good game and then you see people on facebook saying hes rubbish. i reckon hes a good player!!
Ash is a good player that was rushed back from injury to early, consequently putting in some bad performances before he was fit.

Too many names. The fact is, it was a solid performance and now in recent weeks, becoming typical of the kind of performances that should have been encouraged all season.
I'm happy for McGurk and Akins to be finally getting some end results of note. They took too much criticism at times and now it seems it was mostly Les's trenchball style, that stopped them illuminating like they can do. Now he's using a slightly more flambouant playing style, they can do well and at no detriment to other peoples quality of game,
If Les went 4-4-3, I could see Enoch, Jennings and McGurk working well together, with Jennings left side, Enoch middle and McGurk on the right. I'd even be tempted to go Enoch and Mcgurk and keep Jennings on the wing for a 4-4-2.

If Les had given them a little more freedom all season we could easily be top half fodder.
He really needs to have more belief in his side. If I was analysing Les properly, his biggest praise would come for dealing in the transfer market with a low budget.
That is why for me, the "low budget" excuse doesn't wash - I firmly believe the squad that LES developed - no one else - was good enough to be safe a little earlier!

Didn't think Weir had the best game myself. Made a few good tackles, but on the whole, doesn't close down enough in my opinion. Also thought Michael Kay played far too many stray passes.
Weir was everywhere, tackling everyone and playing some good passed.

Having just watched the highlights their were well taken goals in that match and what seem a lot of open play were they passed the ball around on the pitch far away from that hoof ball we have seen far to often this season if we can keep that team that played on Saturday for next season apart from a little fine tuning it could go places next year also the score could have been 4-0 if Zooms shot had gone in off the post still never mind perhaps Zoom can come on this Saturday and get an hat trick to add to the other 3 goals against Swindon(we owe that team one given our past against them) to finish off the season.

Why are we dragging our heels over a new contract for McGurk. The lad is sheer quality ffs. Out of contract in the summer and someone else could whip him away from under our noses.
His first goal on saturday was sheer quality and his second showed he possesses a poachers instinct.
I can see us making quite a bit of money on him further down the line. However, he has to put pen to paper.
Would love to see him up front with big Enoch. Goals galore.

However McGurk has recently come to life, under the new and long awaited style of playing, but before that he had contributed nothing much, so it is one of those things, that there is not a lot of evidence of his ability and if the Yanks took over, there might be the chance he was replaced by more pricier players, or alternatively there might be the case he has started to play well and then starts asking for more money than is feasible, in which case if he won't take a more sensible budget friendly amount, he'd have to go.
They might be waiting to assess the budget, to make sure they have enough to give one or two players a bit more money, because you don't want to lose players, because they're on £1,000 a week or less and can't even get paid another £400-£500 a week and being under 21, you'd expect soon enough they would get more.
