Saturday morning saw as much success for Rovers as the afternoon did, as the youth team recorded only their third League victory of the season and therefore the first back-to-back wins of the season as they thumped Accrington Stanley 5-0 at the Raby Training Ground.

Rovers were pushed into a 2-0 lead through Max Power's brace of goals, taking him into double figures on goals scored this season (10), before Jake Kirby added his fourth of the season to make it 3-0.

Vaulks Will

Will Vaulks's first goal of the season helped the Youth Team to a 5-0 win over Accrington Stanley

Defender Will Vaulks added Tranmere's fourth with his first goal of the season before Cole Stockton netted the fifth and final goal to take his tally for the season to 16 goals in 20 appearances.

The Rovers Team was as follows:

Courtney, Wainwright, Vaulks, Benson, McNamara, Healing, Power, Beech, Kirby, Stockton.

The youth team are next in action in seven days time, Saturday 26th March as they travel to Blackpool.

Mackreth was in the same year as Collister wasn't he? Just Collister got his contract earlier?

Out of the current second years I expect Max will be taken on, we've alrady given Dale a contract, from what I've seen I dunno if any of the others will get one?

I used to really rate Conor Roberts but injuries have hampered this last year for him, and at a club with such a tight budget is it a risk we could take?

From what I've seen of Andy C I'd say no - but admittedly its not a great lot in all fairness.
