Lateef Elford-Alliyu joins from West Bromwich Albion

Tranmere Rovers have made their third loan signing of the week today after Lateef Elford-Alliyu completed a one-month move to Prenton Park.

Elford-Alliyu joins from Premier League club West Bromwich Albion, joining team mate Sam Mantom at Prenton Park, and is the third loan signing Rovers have made from the Baggies this season, and the fifth over the last sixteen months.

Born in Nigeria, the 18-year old is a striker who has already spent time out on loan in the Football League last season with Hereford United, playing once for the club, whilst also made three appearances for England at U-17 level.

Described by the West Bromwich Albion official site as a "versatile forward", Elford-Alliyu will be available for Tranmere's next four games before returning to the Hawthornes.

I think he's more come in due to lack of match fitness and injuries to McGurk and Morrow, whilst Jennings must need a rest soon
