Article Header - Breaking News

The draw for the first round of this seasons F.A. Cup has taken place this morning at Wembley stadium, with Tranmere Rovers handed a very tricky game away to League One rivals Bournemouth.

88 teams were in the hat for the first round draw, with seven replays set to take place from the Fourth Qualifying Round fixtures this weekend.  One game is still to take place too, that between FC United of Manchester and Barrow.

The first round games will be played on the weekend of November 6th and 7th, with at least two of the games to be featured live on TV, with ITV and ESPN holding the broadcasting rights for the tournament this season.

Elsewhere in the draw, several local sides qualified for the First Round proper of the tournament, with Southport and Vauxhall Motors still in the draw.  They were drawn against Sheffield Wednesday at home and Hartlepool United away respectively.

Agreed it's one of the worst draws we could have had and more expense for the Club to travel given the reduced payments in the Cup that Clubs are entitled toosad smiley

Their situation is interesting and highlights how poor is ours in comparison. They went into administration, had aperiod of struggle but now have aclub going forward albeit on modest gates. In contrast it is an option the the P.J situation denies to us. Wins like Saturdays are welcome but our direction of travel remains the same. In the main the quality of management can quicken or slow the process but we need more than a managerial change of direction to get into the situation bornemouth now enjoy

No no no. Back to the negative that. Hadn't we been having people complaining of those tactics and not scoring goals ?
Is there no guts in the club ?
