Winger Jack MacKreth signed his first professional contract in June
2010 after coming through the Tranmere Rovers Centre of Excellence.The youngster signed a one year deal and was one of two players to be offered professional contracts from his age group, with goalkeeper Joe Collister also signing professional a year earlier.
A lightning quick winger, MacKreth, who was a sprinter in his school days, can play on either flank, either as a winger or a wide midfielder, and is capable of getting up and down the touchline quickly and effectively.
The youngster is a skillful player who dribbles quickly with the ball, able to beat his man with a quick turn of pace before crossing into the box or shooting.
The Liverpool born player gained some first team experience during the 2009/10 campaign whilst out on loan with local non-league side Cammell Laird and will be hoping to build on that experience in the Tranmere first team this season.
