Goodison is Rovers longest serving player and has been a regular in the defence since 2004 when he joined.
The Jamaican international is still representing his country at 37 years of age.
The other English club he has played for is Hull where he spent three seasons and then had one and a half years out of the game.
He was then snapped up by Brian Little and has made over 250 appearances for the Whites scoring three goals.
