If Rovers can overcome Leyton Orient in the FA Cup first round replay in ten days time, this afternoon’s second round draw at Wembley has ensured that their reward will be a home tie against League Two side Aldershot in the second round of the competition in just under a fortnight’s time.

Following yesterday's 1-1 home draw against League One rivals Leyton Orient in Coca-Cola League One which ensured a replay in ten days time in East London, Rovers at least found themselves in this afternoon's second draw which handed Rovers or Orient a home tie with League Two side Aldershot in a fortnight's time.

Aldershot made it through to the second round thanks to a 2-0 home win over Bury on Saturday afternoon and will be looking for a bigger scalp with either Rovers or Orient.

The replay of the first round game between Orient and Tranmere will take place on Tuesday 17^th November at 7.45pm whilst the second round game should Rovers progress is scheduled to be played on the weekend of 28^th/29^th November.

something wrong when so many clubs that are part of the Football assosiation and have their financial backs to the wall, then the likes of Man U Chelsea who ever gets the final will share almost £3.000.000 !
You watch a game like yesterday at Northwick (glad we didn't get them !) great entertainment ! kind of thing that makes the competition. Just hope thet'll have got money for the match being on tv live
