Tranmere Rovers have today completed the signing of international striker Kithson Bain on a one year deal.

After much speculation and delay, not to meantion numerous rumours as to the whereabouts of Kithson Bain, or if indeed he was real, Tranmere Rovers have today completed the signing of the Grenada striker on a one-year deal.

The centre-forward was part of the Grenada Gold Cup team [the equivalent of the European Championships] earlier this summer and, as leading scorer of the tournament with  six goals, he was described as Tranmere manager John Barnes as "carrying his team".

Kithson Bain Has Today Signed for Rovers

Barnes also described the striker, who joins Rovers from the wonderfully named Grenada side "Balls Dogs", as "a strong, quick striker", though he is not particularly tall.

At 27-years old, former semi-pro player Bain becomes the first Grenada based player to join an English club and has partnered Blackburn and former Wigan striker Jason Roberts up front for his country.

Bain, who trained with the Tranmere squad for the first time on Monday morning, having watched Rovers' Masters side in action on Sunday at the Echo Arena, goes straight into Tranmere's squad to face Walsall at Prenton Park in Coca Cola League One on Saturday, whilst he will make his first appearance in the Tranmere shirt tomorrow [Wednesday] night, when the Rovers reserve side travel to Bloomfield Road to take on Blackpool in the Totesport Reserve League.

No Point our midfield is@#$%&so no assists coming from them Mclaren frightened to get a tackle in Mahon no decent crosses shuker will do to much and loose it and the other team will score on the counter,Sorry to be nrgative but had enough saying we do nothing under Barnes

any other year he may have been awesome signing.. he's is going to have alot of pressure on him the poor fella
