Rovers Discount Offer for Service Personnel

Following on from other recent special matchday offers, Tranmere’s latest special match deals have been announced for the Crewe game and are aimed at both current and former Servicemen and women in connection with Poppy Appeal and Remembrance Sunday which is once again fast approaching.
To help raise funds for the 2008 Poppy Appeal, Tranmere Rovers have joined forces with the Royal British Legion in order to put on a special offer in the build up to Remembrance Day for the home game against Crewe Alexandra next Friday, the 24th October.
The official launch of the Royal British Legion's regional appeal took place last Thursday, the 16th October at Prenton Park, when ex-servicemen and women met Rovers players and the staff of the Club to promote the links between the two organisations and the special deals for next Friday's home game against Crewe are part of that link.
Admission for current and former servicemen and women has been massively reduced for the Friday night encounter with Crewe to the extent that Adults will receive a £5.00 discount, with Seniors and Young Persons admitted for half price.
Current servicemen and women should present their ID cards at the Club Shop or Ticket Office to claim their discounted ticket whilst ex-servicemen and women should present their discharge papers for their discounted ticket.
As well as the special ticket offers, a collection will be made at the ground by the Territorial Army and Birkenhead Sixth Form College Students whilst the Ellesmere Port Sea Cadet Corp will provide pre-match and half time entertainment.
