Rovers continued their run of never losing to Yeovil EVER, at Prenton Park on Saturday. Calvin Zola scored from long range before Kirk equalised. Zola was then fouled for a penalty which on loan midfield Jennison Myrie-Williams confidently converted to earn Rovers the points.

Ronnie Moore named an unchanged eleven to the one that beat Millwall at the New Den last week. On Friday night three games had took place with play off chasing teams Carlisle, Doncaster and Leyton Orient all losing.
Rovers started perfectly, leading after four minutes. Andy Taylor's throw was flicked on by Gareth Taylor and dropped to Sherriff's feet. He beat his man and gave Calvin Zola a sight at goal, the striker hit a hard low shot into the bottom right corner from outside the area.
At the other end Yeovil nearly bundled in a goal from a goalmouth scramble but the goal never came.
Myrie-Williams then whipped in a corner and Sherriff's header was expertly kept out by Mildenhall.
Calvin Zola's swivel and shot was then kept out again by Mildenhall as Rovers had the better of the first-half.
HALF-TIME: Tranmere 1-0 Yeovil
With just six minutes gone in the second half it was 1-1. A scrappy goal was finished off by Andy Kirk, his first goal for Yeovil. Lloyd Owusu held off Goodison and played in Kirk who rolled in the equaliser.
Paul McLaren who was struggling with his injury was then replaced by John Mullin with half an hour left.
Within seconds of the substitution it was 2-1 to the home side as Stockdale's long ball was brought down by Zola and he was hacked down by Jones and a penalty was correctly given.
On loan Jennison Myrie-Williams took the ball and fancied his chances, he was right to as he confidently sent the keeper the wrong way from the spot.
Yeovil's chances of a point were basically over when Marc Bircham was sent off. Andy Taylor sent Steve Jennings clean through and he was tripped by Jones and recieved his second yellow card. Jennings then picked himself up to smash a free kick agonisingly close but Mildenhall saved well.
Danny Coyne saved well from Kirk as the game entered the last ten minutes but Rovers held firm as Craig Curran replaced Gareth Taylor in injury time and the game ended 2-1.

His overall play was fantastic, passing, tackling and shooting were all spot on and would have scored if he wasn't brought down when clean through.

Jus personally think the centre mids had a quiet week this week, hence pauls subbing. Think Williams was a constant pain in the @#$%& for them and i'd have given it to him, also Calvin was a nuisance. Gareth poor but at least he's consistantly poor... consistancey being our biggest problem and the only way we will make the play offs.
TUESDAY IS MASSIVE NOW, couple of important games in the top half, we must win that game and we could put ourselves right back in the middle of the fun.
