An impressive total of eleven players.

Glenn Johnson has signed for a season long loan at Portsmouth and is once again reunited with his old boss, Harry Redknapp. Johnson became Chelsea's first signing in the Mr Abramovich era and we wish him well for the coming season.

Also on the move is reserve team Captain Danny Hollands who will sign for League One side Bournemouth on Saturday on a permanent deal for two years. Danny was initially linked with Millwall a few days ago.

Danny played a total of 62 matches for the Reserves, including ten as a substitute and scored nine goals. Quite a few of them were spectacular long-range efforts. Also Danny played and captained the Youth team where here appeared 59 + 11 times and scored ten goals.

Danny went on loan to League Two strugglers Torquay United last season where he helped to keep them in the Football League. Danny played ten games, got a couple of Man of the Match Awards and scored one goal.

Chelsea Football Club have made two statements today - 1) Rubbishing claims that Real Madrid have been linked with Arjen Robben and 2) Jose Mourinho has denied making any comments regarding the forthcoming World Cup match between England and Portugal on Saturday.

Petr Cech has undergone minor surgery on his shoulder and is expected to be fit for the start of the new season. England and Bayern Munich's Owen Hargreaves is supporting John Terry as the next Captain of England. (Too right to!)
