Jose may have said that he is more concerned about bird flu than Man Utd, and didn't a certain 'Red Top' tabloid make a lot of that, but we all know Jose as he his and his real concerns are why Chelsea are not playing well and why they cannot seem to get started in the first-half, like they did last season.

We all know that Chelsea should have mullered Birmingham last week and on another day that may have happened, but it didn't and we have to get on with it and hope that the boys are fast out the blocks tomorrow against West Ham.

With William Gallas returning to the squad after his suspension, I would really love to see Jose select Willie G next door to John Terry to resume that tight, defensive partnership that saw Chelsea concede the fewest goals in Premiership history last season.

No disrespect to Carvalho. He is a fine player. But in this tight run-in that Chelsea have, as well as the impending Cup Semi-Final in two weeks, putting Willie G back in his rigthful place, should give Chelsea that extra stability at the back.

Talking of the Semi-Final. I got my ticket and '18 Years A Blue' has got his. I hope that everybody that wants a ticket, get theirs and I hope to 'see you there.'

The ideal scenario tomorrow would be a Chelsea win followed by an Arsenal win, but football doesn't follow the 'ideal.' Here's to a 'squeaky bottom' Sunday 9th April 2006.

Both Chelsea and West Ham have reported no fresh injuries worries and Chelsea even have ex-West Ham's Glenn Johnson available for selection after an amazing recovery from a hernia op in Germany some eight days ago.

Sadly I will miss tomorrow's game and I will miss West Ham's rendition of the Blue Flag song...... you know the one about sticking it where the sun don't shine. I had been looking forward all season for the Hammers to turn out at The Bridge and sing their ditty and now I am going to miss it.

The famly of 40, 39, 20 and 18 Years a Blue are moving house on Monday and there is still an awful lot to do before the big day arrives. But '20 Years A Blue' and '18 Years A Blue' will be going and I will have to settle for TV coverage. So IRONS, any of you going tomorrow who are reading this, sing as loud as you can for '40 Years A Blue.'
