I Got Two babe

Rumours are hot and burning the news wires that Chelsea are pressing forward with their intention of signing 16 year old 'wonder-kid' (is he better than Walcott or Sinclair?) from MSL side DC United.

Mr A was spotted in Tel Aviv last night. Rumour has it that he is interested in tying up a deal with Hapoel Tel Aviv. Now whether or not his interest has anything to do with Chelsea is not clear, but his presence last night was to watch CSKA Moscow and Spartak Moscow play in a Russian club challenge.

'Who let The Drog Out,' Didier Drogba scored the winner and only goal in this afternoon's African Cup of Nations 1st Semi-Final against Nigeria. Now that certainly means that Chelsea fans will not see the 'Drog' back in Blue until Sunday 19th February at the earliest, should Chelsea beat Everton in tomorrow night's FA Cup replay at Stamford Bridge. Everton's manager, David Moyes, is extremely confident that the state of the Stamford Bridge pitch will be of advantage to the 'Toffeemen.' But without Nigel Martyn in goal (who always seems to play brilliantly against us) his confidence could be more of the psychological speak.

Joe Cole was today PFA Player of the Month for January. In a statement released by the PFA it said "Joe Cole has made massive progress since becoming a regular in coach Jose Mourinho’s side, and his increasing contribution to the Chelsea cause has certainly not gone unnoticed by the supporters who have voted him Fans’ Player of the Month for January." Well done Joe.

Gianfranco Zola who is playing in tonight's fund raiser at Macclesfield Town said today that he would like to come back to Chelsea one day in a coaching capacity.

My North-West spy tells me that Anthony Grant, who is currently on loan at Oldham Athletic, didn't even make the bench for Saturday's home defeat against Port Vale. He also said that there is a strong fan campaign to get manager Ronnie Moore out.

40 YEARS A BLUE!

COME ON CHELSEA!
