Fines ALL Round, Chelsea Escape Points Sanction

Tick Tock

Shame. Cos I spent the last 45 minutes trying to find where my 'just in' story went to on the network about the punishments relating to the Chelsea/JM/Cole/Arsenal/Arsene Whinger 'tap-up' saga. Sorry but just had to mentioned the The Whinger.

Why? I don't know but the 'Whinger' should shoulder some of the blame for letting this episode last for as long as it has.

Anyway the punishments are: Ashley Cole got a fine of £100,000. Chelsea Football Club was fined £300,000 and a suspended three points deduction should the same offence be committed during the 2005/06 season and lastly Jose Mourinho, 'The Special One' was fined £200,000.

The two agents involved, Zahavi and Barnett have not been punished simply because they do not enter under the jurisdiction of the Premier League, however the Premier League have requested that both Zahavi and Barnett are investigated by the appropriate authorities.

Lets get one thing straight, Chelsea HAVE NOT nor WILL BE deducted points (unless they offend during the course of season 2005/06), but as the red and white football site from N5 thinking they are on the same level as a national newspaper with a name that rhymes with 'Bun,' perhaps they are and are full of the stuff that gets released from the body on a daily basis......... reported in their sensational 'ticker tape' headline to attract readers (sounds more like the Mirror, Mirror on The Wall), at the end of the day it was AC and his representative who contacted the officials of Chelsea Football Club.

As for Arsenal seeking compensation from Chelsea for the actions of THEIR OWN player.... don't make me mucking laugh. I suppose they are looking for an extremely rich benefactor to pay for the completion of their new stadium (Ashburton Grove).
