Superstitution and the 'Glorious Unpredictability' seems to be getting to Super John Terry, Chelsea's inspirational captain and hot favourite to win this year's PFA Player of the Year award.

The award to whoever wins is scheduled to be presented this coming Sunday. Other nominees are Chelsea's Petr Cech and Frank Lampard, along with Arsenal's goal machine Thierry Henry, Palace's penalty king Andy Johnson and Liverpool's Steven Gerrard. Arjen Robben who was thought to be included in the top list is nominated in the Young PFA Player of the Year category. It was announced last night at half-time that Robben would resume full training next week. Welcome back again Arjen.

Anyway coming back to John Terry. In his programme notes for last night's game JT has changed his routine all due to the fact that Chelsea drew with Birmingham a couple of weeks ago.

JT said "I am doing these notes on Tuesday morning rather than Monday evening. You know how superstitious I am! I have been doing them two nights before a game, Thursday for Saturday, Monday for Wednesday and so on. But we drew the last home game with Birmingham, so I've got to change my routine for this one."

Oh well JT looks like the change is on again then!?!

But I can see his point. When it comes to Chelsea, you do want you can to change or help the path of success. But what has made me cringe on approaching and leaving Stamford Bridge, especially before and after yesterday's game, was the amount of sellers up and down the Fulham Road with stalls packed with Chelsea 'goodies' proclaiming Chelsea Premiership Champions 2004/05. Guys Girls. The Fat Lady hasn't sung yet!! OK after last night's result, its looking certain that the title will be crossing to West London, but until that day arrives, my 'hard earned' will be staying put where it belongs.
