A David Luiz wonder strike (Goal of the Season?) and a double, double, double from ‘Captain, Leader, Legend, One England Captain,’ JT gave Chelsea a comfortable win on the road (well six miles) for the first time in 3 months in the league and broke the run of draws between the two clubs at Craven Cottage last night. 

Even though Fulham managed to create a few chances inside Chelsea’s area, JT played and organised the back four with his usual authority and leadership like he had never been dancing the hokey cokey – In, Out, In, Out and according to Fatty, JT is not guaranteed to start at Anfield on Sunday (Please Leave Fatty There.)

Fatty said, “It’s important they have to be ready, we have eight or nine games to play and everybody has to be on their toes. They have to be ready to play and perform.”

Ruiz contrived to miss the game’s first chance in the opening minutes by clearing the ball over the bar as he got clear of Luiz. Karagounis hit a curler from Fulham’s left after turning Ivanovic inside out and Cech made the save of the night diving low to turn an Emanuelson shot around the post.

Chelsea took the lead when David Luiz unopposed picked up the ball deep in Fulham’s half and let loose from fully 35 yards.

Fatty said after, “I’ve seen him scoring those kind of goals in training sessions, he has that ability and is a very good player. Hopefully he can do one or two more before the end of the season.”

The ball looked like it was going over the bar as it was travelling that high, then all of a sudden it took a wicked dip and although Schwarzer made an attempt to save, the shot had too much power and punched the back of the net.

Chelsea’s second of the night derived from ‘200 goal’ Super Frankie Lampard free-kick which he struck from 30 yards.

Schwarzer managed to get behind it and the ball was cleared for a corner.

The resulting corner was cleared, but the ball found its way to Mata out on Chelsea’s right. Mata sent in a high cross to the far post, for JT to nod in from close range.

Ruiz was booked for simulation for a stumble, stumble, dive, dive inside Chelsea’s area as the half drew to a close.

Fulham’s best chance of getting back into the game came when a Senderos header was on it’s way into the corner, but Petric who was on the line, scooped the ball over the bar.

A few minutes later JT showed Petric how to score from very close range.

Torres flicked on a Mata corner and again the ball appeared to be heading in, JT pushed forward and got his head to the ball – just to make sure.
