A real rollercoaster of a match!  We played some excellent football in large periods of the game but nearly undid all our good work during a bewildering start to the 2nd half when it looked like most of our lot had taken a couple of valium each!

That long walk...!

I wish Levy would actually get on with his new White Hart Lane project and make sure he moves it a tad nearer Seven Sisters tube.  Those that may have had a rough night due to excesses in various recreational liquids and associated substances the evening before will know what I mean.  It really is a long, long walk to the ground and I’m pretty confident I’ve now got calf muscles to match those of a Tour de France cyclist.

 London Derbies - the best?

You’ve got to love Spurs away – great, partisan, venomous atmosphere – almost like the good old 80’s!  Well…you know what I mean!  Our lot were in full song throughout – all the usual ditties “We know what we are...” and various reminders about the lack of silverware in N17!

 Mata, Hazard and Oscar - the usual Suspects

There were some excellent performances with Mata obviously being the brightest jewel.  Hazard and Oscar helped run the midfield, Luiz was as solid as a rock and…it must be said…Mikel was superb.  Torres came in for some stick for his loss of reaction time and..er…reaction in general but I couldn’t help notice that he appeared to be carrying a knock of some description.

Wake up! They've just scored again! 

Spurs did wake up at the beginning of the 2^nd half and there was a moment when a few of us were thinking “Oh no!  This can’t be happening!”.  During this time, our players looked more comatosed than shocked but they did show great character by grabbing the game by the scruff of the neck again.

 Who pressed the alarm?!

Sturridge finished off the match with a simple tap in and Spurs filed out the ground early to the tune of “Is there a fire drill?!” from the Chelsea faithful. It was a very satisfying afternoon - topped off with a few post-match, smug pints.  “Normal viewing has been resumed”, 4-2 at the Lane!
