It's time for the 'prawnies' and JCLs to do their job at Stamford Bridge this afternoon as the struggling Blues take on Wolves - a game that would normally be seen as an easy three points - and I mean no disrespect to Mick McCarthy, to Wolves and their fans.Chelsea are struggling, in relegation form at the moment, and the fans need to get behind AvB, the team and the team simply have to respond.

I think AvB's mind is cluttered with the pressure of the job, the constant media attention because he said that Chelsea haven't conceded goals from the high-line tactic and philosophy that he employs.

Der!! What about Liverpool's second goal, also Leverkusen's equaliser springs to mind, Arsenal also enters the equation and I seriously believe until the players can adapt to this 'high-line' defending, AvB has got to resort to Plan B, that is of course if he has one.

Footballers are perceived not to be the shapest tools in the tool box, but if they are being coached in the right way, and we have to believe at face value, that AvB is coaching in the right way, why cannot our 'heroes' comprehend the messages and instructions that are given out?

AvB said in his pre-match press conference, "The fans have to believe in this group of players because this is a group that we believe in.

"We need their support, there is no running away from that. We cannot go past this period alone. Everybody is frustrated with the results but the fans have a major impact on our emotional state."

Defending his high-line principles, AvB said, "Tell me a goal we suffered due to a high-line problem.

"That is a misconception that turned into opinion-making but without the correct understanding.

"No-one had a problem with our high-line in the second-half against Liverpool when we were high up the pitch and pressing and creating opportunities, and nobody spoke about the poor first half against Liverpool when we were with the medium block and with our line closer to the goalkeeper.

"The second goal Liverpool scored was not because of high line, it was as a result of a shift from one side to another..... (If you say so AvB... ED.)

"When you suffer results like this you have to look at the collective mistakes and address them collectively with the group and that is what we have been doing.

"I think those mistakes can be lack of focus, concentration or aggressiveness and those are the most difficult things to work on because they are almost not coachable.

"Concentration depends on state of mind and how you feel. It depends on too many factors and we don't want there to become a pattern of these mistakes. That is why we focus on the work that we do because that is the thing we can grab to get ourselves out of this situation."
