Depending of what you have heard on the TV or radio or read in your newspapers this week, somewhere in the region of 10,000 to 30,000 'Say No CPO' leaflets will be handed out to fans this afternoon prior to kick-off against Everton at 5.30pm. First game back after the break, we have got 'the Saturday night ruined' slot.

The build-up to tonight's match has taken a back seat with the events of the past days - Will Chelsea move to a new stadium? Or Not?

AvB has come out supporting a move. Captain John Terry is supporting a move. Ashley Cole (it has been reported) is also in the Yes camp.

Danny Sturridge, appearing at a fans event the other evening, when ask, said "The players should be concentrating on the football", and Danny, who is becoming a right little diplomat, has proclaimed 'Chelsea first, before England.'

Last night on Chelsea TV, chairman Bruce Buck reiterated that there are no plans in place (yet) to relocate to a specific new stadium.

Below, is a few snippets of Buck's words.

"To build a new stadium of 55,000 to 60,000 seats would cost in the region of £450m which with the land, would total maybe £500m to £550m.

"Many more seats available should put downward pressure on ticket prices."

"You have to respect the fact that Mr Abramovich is a Chelsea fan and it would not make sense to move the stadium to somewhere that was not to the satisfaction of the bulk of Chelsea fans."

"I am sure the name Stamford Bridge will go with the club, should the club move. If it makes sense and makes the fans happy, of course we'd consider things like that."

"I have never heard of Atlas Road."

"We are not negotiating about any sites at the moment but when people have said to us why we are considering Stratford, why we are considering Wormwood Scrubs, why are we considering a site adjacent to Wormwood Scrubs, the conversation has lasted less than 30 seconds. We have said they are not appropriate for Chelsea Football Club and a NW10 postcode is not appropriate for Chelsea Football Club."

I get the impression from the boardroom that they think the CPO is an uneccesary vehicle and the quicker the CPO is disbanded, the quicker the board can move on to settle Chelsea's future.

Buck, Mr A and the rest of the suits were not around when the CPO was created and I really do not think they appreciate and realise what the CPO and the fans had acheived when defeating the developers back in the 90s.

It is suggested that Bruce Buck purchased 100 CPO shares in April 2011 - What does that tell you?

I do not want Chelsea to leave Stamford Bridge. I doubt any new stadium will match up to the old girl residing in the Fulham Road for history, excitement, anticipation.

It will be a massive anti-climax venturing off to pastures new but this is the 21st century and we as fans, will just have to get on with it.

There are lots of people working behind the scenes championing the cause for the NO vote and for them I hope they get what the want in less than two weeks time.
