COME ON CHELSEA

It is amazing how different words in 48 hours can change the context of Chelsea's season. First of all, The Boss 'Anco' insisted that Chelsea can win the title, now he is saying 'a top four finish' is a priority. Didier Drogba reveals 'he is still not fit' and John Terry reminds us all we are the Double Winners and the best team in the country.

After the shambolic last minute fiasco against Villa on Sunday (that cost us two points) and as Ancelotti quite rightly pointed out a missed penalty against Tottenham and a last-gasp Beckford equaliser at The Bridge also cost us points - top of the League to be precise, we have to win at Wolves, simply to keep on the coat-tails of the leaders.

Ancelotti said, "To stay in the first places of the table is important for the future. We have to think now we can win the title again, but the most important thing is to stay in the places to be in the Champions League.

"I am not worried. We have the skill and the ability to stay in the top four without a problem."

In cementing his statement 'Anco' added, "We won't lose at Molineux, we will win."

Asked about the words between JT and Drogba after the Villa game, 'Anco' said, "It was not an argument. They were speaking about the position on the goal. It is normal that the players can speak about this."

Let us see how 'together' the players are tonight at Wolves. Let us see how 'up' they are for the game.

Or will they turn up like they have done in the past (at other lesser teams, no disrespect), expecting to win?

Let's see if 'Anco's' confidence in Drogba, Malouda and Anelka is not mis-guided.

He said, "They didn't score many goals in the last month but Drogba has started to score and Malouda scored against Bolton. The bad moment is behind them, now I hope Anelka can start to score as well."

With Anelka, probably still recovering from his injury and Chelsea having no other options, Anelka has struggled in recent weeks, but now Danny Sturridge is back, I hope he starts tonight.

'Anco' said, Sturridge also has the quality, he will have more opportunity to play for us up front at the beginning of games.

"He hasn't asked to go on loan but if he asked me I would say, NO WAY!"

Branislav Ivanovic is available after his one match suspension and should return to partner John Terry in central defence.

chelsea cant win anything this season. they are gifting goals at the moment. i just cant understand why they cant defend for 90 minutes. Europa league is the ultimate destination for them right now.

We need need need a win tonight. (My specialist subject "The Bleeding Obvious").

I liked Anco's comments re "We will win"...upon reflection he's set himself up for a massive fall if we don´t. (He's also done McCarthy's team talk for him).

I'm expecting a really determined, non-stop effort tonight - leaving their skin on the pitch (as the Spanish say).

"It is born out of hypocrisy and fundamental insecurity. There have been two kids on the block for the past 12 years. Suddenly, there is a third and that one is threatening to be more successful than the others and they don’t like it." P Kenyon.
