A Villa Reserves v Chelsea Reserves: LIVE Updates from 7pm

The reserves travel to Villa Park this evening to take on League leaders Aston Villa looking for revenge after their opening day defeat, 4-0, at Griffin Park back in August. Gael Kakuta and Nemanja Matic start in a strong line-up which also includes Fabio Borini and Carl Magnay.
This afternoon midfielder Jack Cork was loaned to Burnley until the end of the season.
Aston Villa's team includes Wilfred Bouma, Curtis Davies and dangerous attacking forward Nathan Delfouneso who has caused us problems in the past.
Jeffrey Bruma is still out injured with a thigh injury and Patrick van Aanholt went on loan to Newcastle United until the end of February, last week.
Chelsea: Rhys Taylor, Nikki Ahamed, Carl Magnay, Kenny Strickland, Ben Gordon, Liam Bridcutt, Conor Clifford, Nemanja Matic, Fabio Borini, Jacob Mellis, Gael Kakuta.

Our toughest game of the season?
Good to see we are putting out a strongish team.

I think he has only just started training after being out for ages hasn´t he? Could be another month before he´s back at least.

There are large patches where we are knocking the ball about like the first team. Nice to see.

Rhys Taylor needs to work on his crosses and not get frightened in catching the ball.
Ahamed at right back played very well. Borini struggled and Kakuta flicked in and out with his touches.
Still despite the result, we DO have some really good players
