Bayern Munich admit approach for Bosingwa

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has revealed that indeed they have made an approach and held talks with Chelsea with regard to the transfer of José Bosingwa. There has been speculation for some time but now we have Bayern´s interest in our right-back confirmed.

"We are holding talks, but we still need the approval of Chelsea," said Rummenigge. 

"He is one of the best right full-backs around." 

Well yes indeed – he is one of the best right-backs around – so why would we sell him?

Bosingwa´s form has generally been very good during what has been his first season in the Premier League. 

The deal would only make sense if a) Ancelotti has a preference for a different defender or b) There is a sizable pound of flesh whose surname beings with “R” coming the other way to Stamford Bridge (albeit with a cash add on from our part) - otherwise I just don’t see the deal happening.
