Chelsea midfielder Deco has stated to the media that he is not happy at Chelsea and would like to be reunited with his ex-Porto coach Jose Mourinho. Deco moved from Barcelona to the Bridge for an £8m fee last summer.

"I want to feel happy and this is not the case at Chelsea," he said. 

"I would like to return to work with Mourinho, he is synonymous with success and I would be very happy."

 

The departure of Phil Scolari from Chelsea coincided with a period of injury for Deco who then found it difficult to make it back into the first team for the few matches he was available.

The question is is his unhappiness is more than probably related to not adjusting to life in England given that he didn’t really “miss” that many games when he was fully fit?  After all, he could have waited to see how things went under Ancelotti? I get the impression he wants life under the sun again.

"I have a contract with Chelsea, but I know there are offers from other clubs," he said. 

"I want to find a club where I can again take joy from playing. I did not like the experience at Chelsea. 

"Mourinho is a great coach, maybe the best of my career. 

"I know the clubs have spoken. I just have to have respect that and wait."

Deco is certainly a very creative and skilful player and although I’m slightly surprised at his comments he may well have always been one of the few players in our squad surplus to requirements. 

Should Deco be transferred to Inter (would be a bonus if Quaresma was part of a deal) we could well be meeting during the summer when a pre-season friendly is planned.

The majority of us fans havnt been too happy with him so the lazy fuccck can draw his wage packet somewhere else.

Two great goals against Portsmouth in the first game of the season and the overhead/scissor kick at Bolton are the only memories of his contribution..... plus Ron Harris at Bolton in the row behind me and he stood up throughout the game
