Austrian Wonder kid Prosenik bound for Stamford Bridge

Chelsea have signed 16 year-old Austrian wonder kid Philipp Prosenik from Rapid Vienna. The young striker will leave for the leafy glades of Cobham and the hub-ub of SW6 this summer.

Prosenik had attracted the attention of Bayern Munich, Milan and Juventus but Frank Arnesen stepped in and obtained the Austrians paw mark first.

Prosenik hailed from the 1860 Munich youth academy before signing for Rapid and has currently scored eight goals in twelve appearances for the Austria U17 national side.

The young striker is the son of a former Austrian international Christian Prosenik.
