Mineiro Set to Start for the Reserves

Mineiro makes a start for the reserves tonight at Griffin Park against an extemely strong looking Stoke side. The game kicks-off at 7pm and there will be updates on the message board.
Mineiro played for fifteen minutes on Saturday in the 5-0 thrashing of Sunderland and he will be keen to get some more match practice after his long long lay-off from action after he left Hertha Berlin.
Scott Sinclair and Miroslav Stoch both start as does Fabio Borini who will be looking to keep up his wonderful scoring streak. Stoke have eleven players that have got first team experience lining up tonight including Tom Soares, Michael Tonge, Cort, Richard Cresswell and Steve Simonsen, so Rhys Taylor, Jeffrey Bruma and Liam Bridcutt can expect to have an extremely busy night, although we hope they do not. NEWSFLASH: Ashley Cole has been ruled out for the next seven to ten days with a small tear in his thigh muscle. Surely they´d want to give more of their kids a chance? Or are a lot of these first teamers very young anyway?

..and Stoke beat Arsenal reserves in their last game so could be an interesting match.

Quite a few of Stoke's team tonight played against us a few weeks ago.
its a mixture of young and old but they all have played in Stoke's first team sometime or another.

Imagine if Wenger had to combat Ian Hutchinson? He´d be slating us in the media for such tactics ...and with it being Chelsea the media would have joined in!

I met him once, told him I used to watch him and he replied "No you didn´t!" "I said yes I did!" (it went on like that 2-3 times!!!) Told him I was only a boy...and he just looked at me...maybe thought I was pulling his leg!
Felt quite annoyed for a while afterwards and fustrated that one of my heros may have thought I was lying to him!
Oh well...

If you are wondering Carl Magnay is suspended after getting sent off against Villa and Michael Mancienne is on loan at Wolves.

Of the two I prefer Magnay, take nothing away from Mancienne he is a good player, but there is something more that Magnay has got, like he can play at left back and has done most of this season.
