redlyn yes i do think you guys will be there right to the end this season,i do know you will finish above Arsenal who i think will finish in fourth or fifth place this season.

Those that slate Ashley Cole for leaving Arsenal, his boyhood club, make me laugh with their double standards.

Cole came under criticism for saying that he nearly crashed his car when he found out that the board were going to give him 5K less than Dean had promised him. This was after a long wait and even Dean felt embarrassed I´m sure re the board overtruning his agreement with the player. He was hailed by many as the best left back in the world and other players who had not given anywhere near the service he had given Arsenal were being paid a lot more.

Those who say they are disgusted by Cole and compare theor own wages to a pro-footballers are complete plebian numpties in my book. Do these same numpties boo or slate Gerrard for wanting to join Chelsea and then changing his mind when his wages were hiked up another 30K (!!!!) to keep him at Liverpool??? Of course they don´t! Which just highlights their hypocrosiy and pretty much justifies those of us that feel Cole´s joining Chelsea is just another reason to boo him.

The first time no, he asked only for the number 8 jersey.

The second time his contract was up for renewal, the tardiness in arranging a meeting with his agent are what prompted another attempt by Chelsea to get him, and in the end another knock back to the rent boys.

In either case, he was offered far more money than Liverpool would/could offer him so this comment has no weight behind it whatsoever.

Gerrard didn't get any rise at all the first time, he only wanted a jersey change. Shall I type it in capitals so you can understand better?

I don't need to have a word with myself, Gerrard asked only for the number 8 shirt the first time. He took a few days the second time yes, and then went on to sign the contract he'd been offered in the first place after initially snubbing it because the rent boys offered much, much more.

I can take the same you throw at me - Since 66 is my name - and I have been going to Chelsea SINCE 1966 - my first game was at home to Sheff Wed and Chelsea won 3-2.

I am not proud of the things that Chelsea fans have done in the past - especially in 1976/77 season when we virtually destroyed every ground in the country - well Charlton and Luton to be precise but you know what I mean.

I use to admire Liverpool for all the acheivements in the late 70s and early 80s, especially in Europe but I will never ever forget those two days in your 'blood running history' in Sheffield and in Belgium.

The day in Sheffield I was in Leicester and had a bad day - Chelsea lost and it wasn't until after the game that I found out what went on as news filtered through.

Solidarity started that day between Leicester and Chelsea fans because after the game we went into a Leicester pub and we were advised by the Landlord to leave as their 'top' boys were due in!!

Meanwhile the TV was on and we saw pictures of the events and then Leicester's toppies walked in - at first it looked like it was gonna kick off - but we all started to watch what was going on and we drank together and EVEN went out into the town, until it was time to catch the last train home.

The only problem we encountered all night was at the station - silly little boys - a couple with blades wanted to kick off. Once one or two of them got a 'kick' they ran home to their mums with their tails between their legs.

You will always be known as 'murderers' not just by us but by every football fan in the country - if you are coming to the Bridge on Sunday - you will get 'murderers' again.

Lord Jutice Taylors full judical report which took a number of years to complete . There is the sun newspapers account of course which a lot of this problem stems from. The sun has made numerous appologies for their mistaken version of avents over the years which they have admitted to be lies.

Well my previous posts were re Heysel but...one of the things that really grates me about Liverpool supporters (well at least SOME Liverpool supporters) is that they claim it could have happened to any other clubs fans on the day...

YET...all these years after they continue by forging tickets and trying to rush gates to get in. It happened at the Bridge not so long ago, Athens was a prime example and I understand forged tickets again at the Vicente Calderon!

Besides depriving fellow supporters of a seat it seems that THEY JUST WON´T F**k,ING LEARN!

Obviously I cannot comment specifically regarding your complaint about police action. The entry of the away fans was orderly and controlled until just before kick off when a large number of away fans, many who had been drinking heavily, tried to get in, some without tickets, some with forged tickets and some with tickets from our match in 2005. Some tried to force there way in, entering two to a turnstile and some tried to jump and force gates. In the interests of the safety of all concerned and to ensure there was no overcrowding inside the stadium it was necessary for the club and police to take action to prevent the unauthorized entrance of a large number of ticketless fans. I trust this puts the incident into some perspective.

Re Athens (posted up on the Liverpool board - tried to earlier enter into reasonable debate on their Athens sticky thread - but got the usual sour response) This was just one of many threads of OTHER LIVERPOOL BOARDS:

Consider this from a Hillsborough victim´s parent:

"I don't know that many of you too well. If truth be know I don't know myself too well either. I left Liverpool in 1990 on the run. Running from the shadow of pen 3. Never spoke with anyone about what I did to fight my way out of that hell hole on the 15th April. Stopped going the match for nearly 9 years. Horrible depressive drunk for so many years. Never got any counselling and tried to self medicate with ale.

Finally started going the match again in 1999 and had to be in early and away late.

Anyway, long story short, had a massive blow up in 2003, nearly lost everything in my life as it caught up with me.....The thing that kept me going was the help, love and support of my fellow Reds and some truly great people that I met through the HJC and beyond. The justice day this year brought tears of joy to my eyes as I felt we (I mean arl fans, survivors and new generation) came together to how we have not forgotten and will fight on.

Athens 2007 has taken that away from me. Yeah, I'm low we lost a European Cup Final. I've always been the same since me first match in 1979.

What I can't live with is what I saw outside that ground. I saw our "fans" doing that day what I've spent so many years arguing we didn't and don't do. I'm not naive, I've been going the match for 28 years all in all. I just can't take the fact that the people I might need to rely on and am proud to be part of did what they did in Athens.

It's shook me to the core and sickens me....It makes me think what am I doing? What are my beliefs built on? Will it be kerbed or are we going to get worse?

Apologies for the tone of this, but I'm as low as I've been in years and my own "family" caused it.... "

Dixon......why are you running away, yet again, from your former allegations about other things?

I could go and get as many posts saying they saw no trouble and all went fine in Athens. And it means what? UEFA cocked up again, simple as.

When you've been to as many finals as us (LOL) you'll find there are bound to be some that go wrong, but many, many more went right. Until that day comes you don't know what you're talking about.

I've been to 18 finals and have seen trouble in only one, you really will have to try harder.

I'm waiting for the gonk with no guts to come on our board and tell us why we were to blame for Hillsborough.

The only problem we encountered all night was at the station - silly little boys - a couple with blades wanted to kick off. Once one or two of them got a 'kick' they ran home to their mums with their tails between their legs.

You will always be known as 'murderers' not just by us but by every football fan in the country - if you are coming to the Bridge on Sunday - you will get 'murderers' again.

Fans of Liverpool Football Club caused the deaths of EVERY single one of those fans - Its in your history!!!!

I have quoted this because there is more to my story of the day I had in Leicester.

96 people died at Hillsborough on that day and I could have easily been the 97th - killed by a Leicester fan(s) - surrounded by three and one held a blade to my throat - a bit of gob and a smack in the mouth, plus a kick up the @#$%& got me away and up to the platform to catch the train home.

And I still can't get my head around it after we spent the night drinking with Leicester's top boys!!

Obviously this lot were chancers - like they didn't know the names of the Leicester toppies we were drinking with.

And you wonder why I hate Liverpool so much - killing their own!!

I´ve been generally quite lucky on the slaps front - although I did have a very very close run in with the 657 crew general and a few of his boys in a pub in Portsmouth!

I was also there at Filbert St. I remember them giving it large charging around the ground whilst we were queueing up to get in, I remember we could have beat Liverpool´s 2nd Div points record that day and McCallister having a perfectly good goal disallowed (right in front of our end) but yes...most important of all was the news buzzing around the ground from those that had radios about Hillsborough. A bright sunny but extremely tragic day.
