Sean Wright-Philips has been transferred from Chelsea Football Club to Manchester City – the club he was origonally bought from. The fee is yet to be revealed but is thought to be around 12m. He had one of the best attitudes I’ve seen in a professional football player.
Sean unfortunately became less effective out wide although became a bit of a revelation when used inside of midfield but competition for those places is stiff indeed.

The 26-year-old has completed a medical at City after rumours that he was up there yesterday.
"Obviously I'm delighted to come back to City and I just can't wait to start again,"
Manager Mark Hughes:
"I've always admired him and he's certainly been a target of mine since I came to the football club,"
"To actually secure the deal and bring Shaun back home is a fantastic coup for us and I'm sure the supporters will be just as excited as we are to have him back at Manchester City."
Personally, I think the writing has been on the wall for him for a while although I hoped he would turn things round and prove us all wrong. There is or a tinge of sadness about his move as there is no doubt he had Chelsea in his heart.Goodbye Sean and good luck (but not against Chelsea).
