Paul Sturrock has at long last recieved some positive news regarding the injuries sustained at QPR last Friday. Lee Peacock, Glenn Whelen, and Drissa Diallo all look set to be fit for the trip to Leicester City in 2 weeks time.

After months of injury woe in the Wednesday camp, there at last seems to be some positive news, with the announcement that Lee Peacock, Glenn Whelen, and Drissa Diallo will hopefully be fit for the trip to Leicester City in a fortnights time.
The three players all picked up injurys in last Friday's game at Loftus Road, with Whelen and Peaock seemingly going off with minor knocks, but centre back Drissa Diallo suffering the worst injury following an awkward fall which left the ex-Ipswich player in serious pain.
Diallo is set to have a scan on Thursday morning to see how bad the injury is, but boss Paul Sturrock told the official SWFC site that the injury does not appear to be as bad as first feared. Sturrock told swfc.co.uk, ''We're more hopeful than we were after the game...he'll have an MRI scan on Thursday to find out the severity.''
Meanwhile, Glenn Whelen will hopefully be back in training at the end of the week with Lee Peacock returning to full training early next week. The week off for internationals has proved to be a welcome break for the Owls who are also looking at Lee Bullen and new-boy Barry Corr returning to training before the Leciester City game. Sturrock told the official SWFC site: ''Bullen and Heckingbottom are upping their training and have a slim chance of being available - the problem being they will be lacking games.''
