The Clarets have confirmed their first pre-season friendly of the 2006/07 season, with local rivals Bolton Wanderers visiting Turf Moor on Saturday July 22nd.

The Clarets have confirmed their first pre-season friendly of the 2006/07 season, with local rivals Bolton Wanderers visiting Turf Moor.

 

The Trotters will visit Burnley on Saturday July 22nd, the day before the Clarets fly out to Italy for their pre-season tour of Lake Garda. The game has been given a 3 o'clock kick off time and is priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children.

 

Recently released players Bruno N'Gotty and Jay-Jay Okocha will play no part after manager Sam Allardyce decided against offering the pair new contracts stating that he needed to bring the average age of the squad down.
