Cooky's career saw 22 years of football and over 700 games, 140 of those for the Clarets. It will be a fantastic send off for Paul, and some of the names chosen for the Burnley XI certainly do the occasion justice. So get yourselves to the Crown Ground, admission is £10 for adults, and £5 for children and senior citizens, it should be a great celebration of a great career.
Cooky said, "It's just a chance to thank all the people of Accrington and Burnley, to celebrate with the Accy fans on our fantastic season and to see some of the Burnley players from the time we got promoted from the old second division. I couldn't think of a better way to call it a day."
