Ade Akinbiyi is now a Blade following a £1.75Million deal seeing him leave the Clarets after less than a year, after passing his medical at Bramall Lane earlier this afternoon.

Ade Akinbiyi has joined Sheffield United following a record breaking £1.75 million deal.

The striker has bagged 18 goals from the 43 games he's played in and is expected to ensure that Sheffield United get promotion this season.

He passed his medical at Bramall Lane earlier today and the money earned is expected to be used to add to the squad.
