The club shop attracted lots of fans on Wednesday afternoon as Frank Sinclair, Brian Jensen and Michael Duff were available for getting all your presents signed before Christmas. Also there was club photographer Andy Ford. His photos are the basis of a newly released book from the club.

Andy provides action images on the pitch and as shown in his new book, images off the pitch for the club. The new book "More than 90 Minutes" showcases Andy's collection of photos from over the past year and a half.

The Padiham based photographer told The Longside that as a child he was fascinated with the work photographers did on the Burnley games he went on, which led to his interest in photography. His photos of the local area, recently attracted the attention of the football club who approached him regarding a project, which led to the publication of this book.

Managing to get behind the scenes of the club to take the photographs in the book and while not being too intrusive, Andy ensured that he gained everyone's trust and the manager's approval to be able to capture the shots published. This enabled him to show a side of the players and the club that most fans don't have the opportunity to see.

For the future, he will be continuing with his Burnley FC work, in what he calls a "Dream Job", but hopes the new book will enable him to work with other clubs. He also has a proposal for the FA and he hopes to be able to give us further details at a later date if successful.

Andy's work will be on show at the Mid Pennine Arts Gallery, accessible from Yorke St underneath the Mechanics. It runs from the 7 th January until the 11th February 2006. The exhibition will also be part of a community project in which fans will be able to send in photos of fans getting ready for a game, travelling to the game and celebrating or commiserating after a game. These will be part of the exhibition.
