The Longside Christmas Bash is nearly upon us! The tickets are selling well and a great night is ahead!

There's been a lot of talk in our Lounge lately about some exciting news and we are pleased to announce we are about to give you it!

BUT first let us remind you about the venue! We are very pleased to have Romeo & Juliet's in Burnley. This provides us with a private secure venue, dance floor and DJ, full buffet, bar and staff and fantastic Claret company and it is only costing £10 per ticket! Venue images are at the bottom of this page.

So why are we doing this?

Fundraising for The Clarets Trust.

The Longside completely endorses everything The Clarets Trust stands for and aims to bring to our Football Club. Over the past months we have built up a great relationship with The Trust. Some of our admin team are active volunteers and one is now a member of the Steering Group. We have helped increase membership by an active campaign within our Lounge message board and do everything we can to promote the Trust via special event advertising and banners. SO let's raise them some money while having a great deal of fun!

Ticket news is great! We have sold over 50 tickets (at time of this release) and we still have just over a week to go. We have received support from many areas including exile fans who can't make it but want to donate the ticket price, to rival fans such as Wolves and even Blackburn! In fact look out for the Wolves shirt in the after party pictures!

If you have not ordered your tickets yet DO IT NOW! Places are limited and there is NO admission on the night as we are running a Guest List with ticket numbers to stop any gate crashing! Also if a Blackburn and Wolves fan can do it WHY CAN'T YOU?

SO what's the BIG NEWS!

First we are pleased to announce some more special guests! As if Jeff Brown isn't enough, we also have several members of The Trust Steering Group and also guests from Burnley FC itself. The support we have received from both Burnley FC and The Clarets Trust has been immense, and this will give us all a chance to thank them in person! We will be having a cheque presentation towards the end of the night, and even with a prior engagement, it is hoped that Retired Burnley MP and Trust Chairman, Peter Pike (Picture Below), will be able to come along and receive it.

Also, after an extremely successful Stars Night last Thursday, we have TWO live performers coming along!

Teenage singing sensation, Simone (pictured below), was "Britney" last Thursday and received many plaudits. Simone will be coming as herself this time. She is singing 5 songs and may well be joined by Ian who was runner up as "Art Garfunkel" last Thursday.
